Hello!
I'm a lutruwita/Tasmania based landscape designer with a focus on creating biodiverse gardens. Whether you are creating a new landscaping concept, or are updating your existing garden, I would love to collaborate with you.
About me
Hi, I’m Rikki-Lea. I’m a qualified landscape designer with a passion for ecology and nature. I love co-designing with clients to create ecosystem-centric gardens that celebrate the local landscape. Working in coastal lutruwita/Tasmania, my designs are inspired by the plants, colours and structures of wild, windswept sand-dune environments, through to open eucalypt woodlands.
With ten years experience working in sustainability, I apply systems thinking to design contexts to ensure that what we do endures into the future; for our ecosystems and communities. A designer and advisor, my focus is on collaboration with you to meet your individual garden needs.
I hold a Diploma of Landscape Design from TAFE Queensland, a Bachelor of Sustainability from Murdoch University, and a Permaculture Design Certificate from Northey Street City Farm. I’m an advocate of life-long learning, and I am currently continuing my studies at the University of Tasmania in the field of Ecology.
